Seven people came by to gather, mend, chat and eat soup at LolaLijn.

C took on the challenge to continue darning the LolaLijn sofa. We added more warp (blue and red) and she made good progress with the warp with yarn and fluffy wool.

L made a heart shaped Christmas ornament out of kimono fabric. L’s partner came by to see how the Mending Evening is going.

R started on her project of fixing a broken button loop on her favorite green shirt from Nepal. She is using the same fabric as L.

Z neatly stitched up one hole per sock. (She brought two socks, so 2 holes in total). Next to Z, M drew flowers with markers on A4 print paper.

S came with a few garments. She sewed on a white button to her floral summer dress and stitched back a tear in a white cotton blouse.

In total, 4 garments were repaired, 1 ornament was made and 2 projects are in progress.
