Five of us, with the company of two little ones, came together for another cozy mending evening.
A pair of greenish fingerless gloves recently got caught and snagged on something pointy. During the evening, the snagged glove was repaired by the maker herself.
A navy lightweight woolen shirt had a hole around the waist. The hole was covered by wool, needle-felted into the shape of a heart.
A brown woolen cardigan with floral embroidery, once owned and worn by the grandmother of the current owner, had become quite holey due to moths. After contemplation and discussion with others, she decided to begin darning the holes one by one. In this session, she darned one hole with bright pink yarn she brought.
The darning of the Lola Lijn sofa was picked up by a new member. She was amazing and made the most progress out of all of us who have worked on it.
